OCCURRED IN EXTREME EAST TEXAS AND NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...
A SUPERCELL PRODUCED FOUR TORNADO TRACKS AS IT MOVED ACROSS
EXTREME EAST TEXAS AND NORTHWEST LOUISIANA. THIS DAMAGE OCCURRED
ON THE AFTERNOON OF MAY 16TH. THE STORM DAMAGE SURVEY RESULTS ARE
PLACED IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER IN WHICH THEY HAPPENED.

AND SNAPPING TREES ALONG ITS PATH...AND CAUSING DAMAGE TO A FEW
RESIDENTIAL HOMES. THE TORNADO THEN LIFTED ABOUT 0.5 MILES SOUTH OF I20
AND 0.25 MILES EAST OF MAGNOLIA RD.

THE HWY 80 INTERSECTION ON THE EAST SIDE OF GREENWOOD. THE TORNADO
UPROOTED AND SNAPPED TREES AS IT MOVED SOUTHEAST TOWARD THE OLD
GENERAL MOTORS PLANT. SEVERAL RESIDENTIAL AND MOBILE HOME COMMUNITIES
HAD STRUCTURAL DAMAGE FROM FALLEN TREES IN THE PATH. ONE INJURY
OCCURED AT THE BLUE RIDGE MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY NEAR BUNCOMBE RD AND
BERT KOUNS. THE TORNADO THEN LIFTED ABOUT 0.4 OF A MILE SOUTHEAST OF
THE BERT KOUNS AND BUNCOMBE RD INTERSECTION.
